Suffolk farm barns and combine set alight

Police officers have been called in by fire crews after barns and a combine harvester were set alight at a farm in Suffolk.

About 25 firefighters have been tackling the separate fires at Ufford Road in Eyke, near Woodbridge, since shortly before 05:00 BST.

Several farm buildings were involved, two of which collapsed, the fire service said.

Police said a low loader may have been stolen and appealed for information.

Fire crews are now damping down at the site of the Dutch barn, workshop, cattle feed and machine store.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area in the early hours is asked to contact Suffolk Police.
