Description of man wanted over Ipswich woodland attack

Police have released a description of a man wanted in relation to a sex assault in a Suffolk woodland.

A woman in her 20s reported that a man pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her in woods behind Downside Close, Ipswich, early on 9 August.

She has described him as black, in his late-20s to early-30s, more than 5ft 10in tall and with stubble.

He was wearing a long-sleeved hooded top and a blue New York Yankees baseball cap with white logo.

The woman told police she had been looking for a friend at around 05:00 BST in the woodland when the assault took place.

Since the initial details were taken, officers said they had been able to speak to the woman and obtain a full account of the attack.
