Police are continuing to search for a mental health patient who absconded from a secure hospital in Suffolk.

Luke Sparks, Ross Beeby and Jason Williams forced their way from St John's House, in Lion Road, Palgrave, at about 01:00 BST on Sunday.

Mr Beeby and Mr Williams were later found on the A140 in Norfolk.

Mr Sparks, 21, is still missing and people have been advised not to approach him but to call 999 if they see him.

St John's House, near Diss, has 40 beds and deals with patients with mental health problems, disabilities and learning difficulties.

Officers have been conducting searches using dogs and the police helicopter.

A member of staff received a minor head injury in the breakout.

Police said officers had information to suggest Sparks, who was convicted of a serious assault in Taunton, Somerset in 2008, may be in the Bristol area, here his family and friends live.

He has short black hair, is of average size and muscular. He was wearing a grey hooded top, grey shorts and black, grey and white Nike trainers.
