Suspected illegal immigrants found on a lorry near RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk have been arrested.
Suffolk police found the men after a call from a lorry driver at about 09:00 GMT who believed illegal immigrants were on board his vehicle.
The 11 men are in custody at Bury St Edmunds police station.
They will be removed from the UK if they are found to have no right to remain in the country, said the UK Border Agency.
The men, 10 of whom are believed to be from Iran and one from Afghanistan, were found inside the lorry which had stopped near the USAF airbase.
They will be questioned by immigration officers from the UK Border Agency later.
