Driver dies in Framlingham parked cars crash

A 78-year-old driver has died after his car hit two parked vehicles in Suffolk.

Emergency services were called at 11:10 GMT to reports that a silver Ford Mondeo had hit two stationary vehicles Station Road, Framlingham.

Ambulance crews treated the driver of the Ford, from the Framlingham area, but he died at the scene.

The two stationary vehicles - a BMW and a Ford Ranger - were unoccupied at the time of the collision and no-one else was injured.

Station Road and the surrounding roads were closed after the crash but have since been reopened.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision.
