Farm worker's death in Suffolk investigated

The death of a man on a farm in Suffolk is to be investigated by police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

Police were called on 19 December after a report that a farm worker had collapsed at Darsham.

An ambulance crew tried to resuscitate Neville Bloss, 53, but he died at the scene.

It was initially thought the death was due to natural causes but a post-mortem examination revealed he died from compressive chest injuries.

Police and the HSE are now investigating exactly what occurred.

Mr Bloss lived in the Stradbroke area of Suffolk.
