Haverhill death: Police given more time to quiz woman suspect

Police have been given an extra 36 hours to question a woman in connection with a suspected murder in Suffolk.

The woman, in her 40s and from the Haverhill area, was arrested after 77-year-old Paul Norfolk was found in his house in Castle Lane, Haverhill.

Police forced their way into the house on Friday and discovered Mr Norfolk who had died from head injuries. The woman was also found with a head injury.

Detectives have until Tuesday evening to question the woman.
