Woman in court over Haverhill death

A 49-year-old carer charged with the murder of a pensioner in Suffolk has appeared in court.

The body of 77-year-old Paul Norfolk was found in his house in Castle Lane, Haverhill, by police on 30 December.

A post-mortem examination found he had died from head injuries.

Bunthawee Rimmer, of Castle Lane, Haverhill, entered no plea at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates' Court earlier and will appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 12 January.
