A 20-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent after a stabbing in Ipswich.

Ian Starkie, of Cranwell Crescent in the town, is due before South East Suffolk Magistrates' Court later.

The charge follows the discovery of a man with serious stab wounds at a property in Witney Close, in the Ravenswood area of Ipswich, just before 05:00 BST on 6 April

Four other people arrested at the time will face no further police action.

The victim was admitted to hospital but discharged later in the month.
