Ipswich body find: Police not treating death as suspicious

The discovery of a man's body at a house in Ipswich on Tuesday afternoon is not being treated as suspicious.

Suffolk police were called to an address on Burrell Road near the railway station and they were initially treating the death as unexplained.

A post-mortem examination has taken place and officers said they believed preliminary results showed no third party was involved.

Further toxicology results are due and an inquest will take place.

The dead man has yet to be formally identified, but it is believed he was in his 40s.
