Reydon man given bail after crash on A12

A 44-year-old man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in Suffolk has been bailed by police.

Police were called on Saturday after a Citroen Saxo was in collision with a Ford Focus on the A12 seen weaving from one side of the road to the other.

Drivers in front and behind the car said they had seen the Saxo weaving from one side of the road to the other before the crash.

No-one was injured in the collision, near the Saxmundham turning.

The man from Reydon, near Southwold, was questioned by Suffolk Police on suspicion of driving while unfit and dangerous driving.

He was bailed to return to officers on 26 September after further inquiries.
