Second death following A14 crash in Suffolk

A teenage boy has died in hospital after a crash on the A14 in Suffolk which also claimed the life of a woman in her 50s.

She died at the scene of Monday's crash, which involved two lorries and her Fiat Punto, at Trimley St Mary.

The boy was a passenger in her car, as was a man in his 60s who suffered life-threatening injuries.

A man, 50, of Dovercourt, Essex, was arrested on Monday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been bailed to return to police in October.

The crash happened on the eastbound carriageway, near Felixstowe, at 13:50 BST.
