Ian Starkie denies stabbing charge at Ipswich Crown Court

A 21-year-old man from Ipswich has denied stabbing a man in April.

Ian Starkie pleaded not guilty at Ipswich Crown Court to the charge of wounding with intent, following an incident at a property in Witney Close.

A man was discovered with serious stab wounds in the early hours of 6 April. He was admitted to hospital but discharged later in the month.

Mr Starkie, of Cranwell Crescent, Ipswich, will go on trial at the court on 19 November.
