Body found in River Waveney thought to be Mark Pease

A body found in the River Waveney is believed to be a man from Suffolk who had been reported missing.

Police were called to Burgh St Peter, near Beccles, on Monday morning after receiving reports that a body had been seen at nearby Aldeby, in Norfolk.

The body has yet to be formally identified, but police say it is 33-year-old Mark Pease, from Beccles, who had been missing since 12 October.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out later in the week.
