A new discount travel card is to be introduced in Suffolk, two years after the county council stopped running a similar scheme.

The Conservative-run council's cabinet has voted to provide a 25% discount on buses for 16 to 19-year-olds.

The old Explore card offered a 50% discount off adult fares.

The council said the new card would cost £1.4m over five years, whereas the Explore card cost £1.8m per year and was "unsustainable".
