Dead man found in Newmarket woodland identified

A man whose body was found in woodland in Suffolk during last month's cold spell has been named by police.

Asif Shaikh Qurashi, 38, of Icewell Hill, Newmarket, was discovered on land off Bury Road in the town at about 21:30 GMT on 24 January.

Suffolk Police said they were treating his death as unexplained and that further tests were required following a post mortem examination.

An inquest into his death has been adjourned in Bury St Edmunds.
