A man and a woman have pleaded not guilty to murdering a 35-year-old man whose body was found in a park.

Christopher Thompson, 35, of London Road, Ipswich, was discovered by a dog walker in the town's Chantry Park on 15 November.

A post-mortem examination concluded he died as a result of an assault.

Christopher Wilson, 34, and Deanna Stanton, 26, both of no fixed abode, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court and will face trial later this year.

A 42-year-old man from Ipswich was questioned as part of the murder inquiry and is due to return to answer bail on 6 March.
