Man charged with Mary Roberts murder in Bury St Edmunds

A man has been charged with the murder of a 50-year-old woman whose body was found in a car park.

The body of Mary Roberts was discovered off Risbygate Street in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on 27 March.

Andrew Ratcliffe, 56, of Wherstead Road in Ipswich, was re-arrested on Wednesday and charged with Ms Roberts' murder. He will appear before magistrates in Bury St Edmunds later.

A second man, 59, arrested on suspicion of murder, remains on police bail.
