Beccles poppy shop beats odds to stay open

The last Royal British Legion charity shop in the country is still going strong thanks to the determination of a team of volunteers.

The shop, at Beccles, in Suffolk, which contributes about £12,000 a year towards the Poppy Appeal, is open six days a week and run by more than 12 staff.
