The Prime Minister has given his support to the South Suffolk MP Tim Yeo in his fight to be reselected as the Tory candidate for the constituency.

In a letter, David Cameron said it would be "a great loss" if his local party did not reselect him.

Local members are currently deciding whether Mr Yeo should represent them in next year's general election.

Andrew Sinclair reports.
