Mildenhall Paul Bone murder: Andrew Turner guilty
A man who stabbed his friend to death after inviting him for a Christmas drink has been convicted of murder.
Paul Bone, 40, had visited Andrew Turner in Pembroke Close, Mildenhall, Suffolk, in December last year, when the pair got into an argument.
Ipswich Crown Court heard Turner used such ferocity the knife nicked one of Mr Bone's ribs and entered his heart.
Turner, 50, denied murder but was found guilty by a jury. He is due to be sentenced on Wednesday.
Mr Bone, of Trinity Avenue, Mildenhall, was found slumped in the doorway of Turner's home in the early hours of 20 December by a neighbour, who called police.
He had suffered a single stab wound to the chest.
