The body of a woman has been found at a house in a Suffolk village after a man was discovered dead at the bottom of a multi-storey car park.

Police said officers were called to reports of an injured man at Parkway car park in Bury St Edmunds earlier.

He received treatment by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the man's death led police to an address at Little St Mary's, Long Melford - where a woman's body was found.

Police have launched an investigation and a cordon is currently in place at both the address in Long Melford and the Parkway car park.

A police spokeswoman said: "At this stage their deaths will be treated as unexplained."

Anyone who has any information is asked to call Suffolk Police.
