Teenage boy sexually attacked in Weybridge pub toilets

A teenage boy has been sexually assaulted in the toilets of a pub in Surrey while he was there having a Sunday lunch with his family.

Police said the boy went to the toilets in the Minnow in Weybridge when he was approached by a man and attacked.

Detectives have only just released details about the attack at about 1600 BST on 24 October.

A 42-year-old Weybridge man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and bailed pending further inquiries.

'Busy pub'

Police want to speak to a man who entered the toilets and disturbed the suspect during the attack.

They have also appealed for anyone who was in the vicinity between 1500 BST and 1700 BST to come forward.

Det Con Dave Thomas said: "The pub would have been very busy at the time and we are keen to speak to anybody who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously.

"This was a traumatic experience for the victim and we are doing everything we can to catch the person responsible."
