Masked intruders attack Addlestone family

A family has been attacked after three masked intruders broke into their house in Addlestone.

Surrey Police said the family, a woman aged 45 and a man and a woman both in their 20s, were sitting eating a meal when the men broke in.

The older woman suffered cuts to her face and hands from what was believed to be a knife, on Monday evening.

The others also suffered cuts and bruises in the attack in Simplemarsh Road. Two mobile phones were taken.

Ambulance crews were called and the two women were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, police said.

The suspects are thought to have left in a BMW car.

Police want to speak to anyone who saw the car leaving the scene, or who has any other information.
