Surrey motorist in fire extinguisher attacks

A motorist who sprayed a powder fire extinguisher in the faces of two people in Surrey is being sought by police.

Both incidents happened in Smallfield, near Horley, between 2145 and 2200 GMT on Monday, and involved a man in a silver car, which was possibly a Volvo.

A 47-year-old woman was targeted in Weatherhill Road when a vehicle pulled up alongside her and a man got out of the car spraying an extinguisher.

In Wheelers Lane, a 67-year-old man also had powder sprayed in his face.

Police said neither victim was seriously injured.
