Elderly driver dies after Surrey crash

A 90-year-old driver has died in hospital after a road crash in Surrey.

The pensioner was taken to St George's Hospital, London, after the crash in Little Bookham on Monday evening which involved three cars.

A Ford Mondeo, Lexus and Fiat Panda were involved in a collision in Guildford Road.

Surrey Police said the man, who was driving the Mondeo and whose name has not yet been released, died of natural causes. His family have been informed.

The other two drivers involved in the incident had minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.
