Warning as man approaches four young women in Surrey

Police have called for vigilance in a Surrey town after reports a man has been approaching women and girls as young as 11.

It is thought the suspect touches or holds the victims' shoulders, but does not talk to them, and runs off when they scream.

Surrey Police say there were at least four linked incidents in the Langshott area of Horley between 1 and 19 March.

None of the victims has been harmed by the man.

Det Insp Lucy Drew said it was not clear what his motive was.

"It was a frightening experience for the victims and we clearly need to establish who this person is."

The man is described as white, about 6ft, of athletic build, and wearing blue jeans with a dark hooded top.
