Teenager shot in wrist by air rifle in Virginia Water
A teenage girl has had an air rifle pellet removed from her wrist after she was shot in Surrey.
The 16-year-old was injured as she walked in playing fields in Cabrera Avenue, Virginia Water.
Police, who have only just released details of the incident last Wednesday, said she felt a sharp pain in her wrist after a grey truck drove past her.
She was taken by a friend to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey for treatment after the shooting at about 1450 BST.
