Police to target underage Waverley drinkers this summer

Underage drinkers in Waverley are to be targeted in a spring and summer crackdown, Surrey Police have said.

Officers will patrol parks and play areas throughout the borough on Friday and Saturday nights, confiscating drink from under-18s.

They can also ban people from alcohol trouble spots for up to 48 hours and will prosecute those suspected of supplying drink to those underage.

Anyone who wants to put forward their area for patrols can contact police.
