Two men seriously injured in A23 crash at Hooley

Two men in their 20s have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after their car came off the road in Surrey.

Police said the Renault Megane was travelling northbound on the A23 Brighton Road just before 0400 BST.

It left the carriageway at Hooley, colliding with the central reservation and a lamppost.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to the crash, or anyone who saw the mid-blue car before the collision, to contact them.
