Reigate nail gun attack: Man charged

A Reigate man has been charged after a man was injured by nails believed to have been fired from a nail gun.

The attack happened outside the Red Cross pub in Reigate High Street in the early hours of 28 August.

Nails were found at the scene and Surrey Police said they believed they had been fired from a nail gun.

The man was charged with assault and affray and will appear at South East Surrey Magistrates Court on 11 November.
