Collectors and businesses in Surrey have been asked to look out for stolen antiques valued in excess of £20,000.

The haul, which includes about 70 Staffordshire figurines worth up to £300 each, was stolen from a property in Shepperton earlier this month.

Antique silver candlesticks, a silver candle snuffer and silver sugar shaker, along with a carriage clock and a Georgian barometer, were also taken.

Police said many were collectables and "of great personal value to the owner".
