Royal Holloway students stage sit-in over cuts
Students have occupied a Surrey university building in protest against cuts and tuition fee increases.
About 30 students entered a management building at the Royal Holloway in Egham on Wednesday.
They are demanding the principal guarantees that no courses will be closed or staff made redundant.
A spokesman said the students were allowing staff access to offices and were not interfering with normal activities.
A spokesman for the Royal Holloway Anti-Cuts Alliance said: "The management are carrying out their own plans regardless of bothering to find out what students actually think."
