Two men are being sought after a Surrey nightclub bouncer was subjected to a "nasty" attack with a baseball bat.

The 32-year-old victim was attacked outside the Casino nightclub in Onslow Street in Guildford.

After being hit he fell and the attackers continued hitting and punching him in the head, police said.

Police have just issued descriptions of two men who were filmed swimming across the canal after the attack at about 04:00 GMT on 15 December.

Det Con Russ McPhillips from Surrey Police said: "Suspects have deliberately sought the victim out and subjected him to a nasty attack."

One man is 6ft 2in tall, and was wearing a white long-sleeved jacket, black jeans and black trainers.

The second man was described as 5ft 10in tall, and was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

The two men were seen heading towards Subway after the attack.
