Woman dies after Leatherhead road crash

A woman has died in hospital following a crash in Surrey.

Surrey Police said a single-decker coach and a Honda car were involved in the collision in Randalls Road, Leatherhead, on Thursday afternoon.

The woman passenger was cut free from the Honda by firefighters and treated by paramedics before being taken to a London hospital, where she later died.

Officers said the Honda driver and the coach driver were both treated for minor injuries.

Surrey Police said road closures were put in place along Randalls Road and Cleeve Road after the crash at 13:10 GMT.

The woman who died has not yet been named. She was aged in her 70s.
