Ex-League Against Cruel Sports worker charged with fraud

The former head of campaigns and communications at the Surrey-based League Against Cruel Sports has been charged with fraud.

Steve Taylor, of Saltash, Cornwall, was charged on Monday and bailed until his court appearance later this month, a spokeswoman for Surrey Police said.

Mr Taylor is accused one count of fraud by false representation, she added.

The 35-year-old is due to appear before South West Surrey magistrates on 20 April, the spokeswoman said.
