Driver injured in M25 police pursuit in Surrey
A car driver was injured and two police vehicles were damaged during a police pursuit on the M25 in Surrey.
Surrey Police said officers pursued a Mitsubishi Pajero that failed to stop along the M25 between Cobham Services and junction 13 at about 06:00 BST.
The car, which had been stolen, was believed to have been driven by someone involved in a burglary at a construction site.
The police vehicles were damaged when officers tried to stop the Pajero.
The car continued until it hit a VW Golf as it left the motorway and drove through a red light on to the A30 near Staines.
A 27-year-old man from Slough was arrested and taken to St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey, for treatment to chest and back injuries.
The driver of the VW Golf was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Surrey Police said no officers were injured.
The force has appealed for anyone with information about the burglary or crash to contact officers.
