Surrey Police seize 40,000 ecstasy tablets in raid

Ecstasy tablets with a street value of £250,000 have been seized by Surrey Police.

Seven men were arrested following the raid in Marsh Green, Tandridge, where 40,000 tablets were discovered.

Six of the men remain in custody and a seventh has been released on bail.

Det Insp Ben Lee, who led Wednesday's operation, said: "I hope this sends a clear message to anyone involved in the production or supply of drugs that we are will take action against them."
