Baby injured when pram goes into river at Laleham

A five-month-old baby boy suffered head injuries when the pram he was in went into the River Thames in Surrey.

The baby boy was taken to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, where he is receiving treatment.

The father of the boy had been walking along the river near Penton Road in Laleham with the pram and another child on Friday morning.

Surrey Police asked anyone who helped at the scene or witnessed the incident to contact them.
