Surrey betting shop robbery: Woman arrested and bailed

A second person has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery on a betting shop in Surrey.

A 28-year-old woman was held on suspicion of assisting an offender following the raid at Corals in Knaphill, near Woking on Monday.

She was bailed to return to Woking police station on 25 January.

A man arrested in Tracious Close, near Goldsworth Park, on the night of the robbery is currently on police bail until March.

The raid, on Knaphill High Street, happened at about 17:45 GMT when a man threatened staff with a knife and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

He escaped with a second man, who was waiting outside.

Police, who are appealing for witnesses to the robbery and a subsequent disturbance in Tracious Close, say they are still looking for another man.
