Two men charged over mass brawl in Cobham

Two men have been charged after a large fight involving people with baseball bats in Surrey.

The brawl took place in Cobham on Sunday 21 July in Hamilton Avenue and involved up to 20 people, police said.

A man in his 50s collapsed after being stopped by police following the fight and died of coronary heart disease.

A 19-year-old man has been charged with a public order offence, together with a 50-year-old man who was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

Both are due to appear at North Surrey Magistrates' Court on 13 August.

A man in his 20s has been released on bail until September.

Three other men arrested earlier have also also released on police bail.
