Boy charged with Neil Tulley's murder appears in court

A 14-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man found stabbed to death in a house.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of killing Neil Tulley, 54, in the Bellfields area of Guildford on Tuesday.

He appeared at North Surrey Magistrates Court and was remanded into the care of social services. He will appear at Guildford Crown Court on 20 August.

Surrey Police said the murder investigation is ongoing.

A 22-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder is currently in hospital where he is being treated for injuries sustained before his arrest.
