Crimewatch appeal over Bletchingley post office raid
Detectives have appealed for help in solving an early morning armed raid on a post office in Surrey in which two people were restrained.
CCTV footage showing the robbery in Bletchingley High Street was shown on the BBC's Crimewatch programme.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s were threatened by the robber at about 06:15 GMT on 31 December, and their wrists were bound with cable ties.
The suspect fled with cash, scratch cards and cigarettes.
A firearm which is believed to have been used in the raid was found in a lay-by off Little Common Lane.
Surrey Police said firearms experts believed it was a gas powered BB gun.
Anyone who has information about the identity of the man was urged to contact officers.
