Fatal Surrey M25 crash: Lorry driver arrested
A lorry driver has been arrested after a fatal crash which partially closed the M25 in Surrey.
The lorry and a Mercedes Sprinter van were in collision on the anticlockwise carriageway between junctions nine and eight, late on Thursday night.
The van driver, a man believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead while en route to hospital in London.
Police arrested the lorry driver, a man in his 40s, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Two lanes of the carriageway between Leatherhead and Reigate were closed for several hours overnight.
