The family of a personal trainer and massage therapist found stabbed to death have said they are numb at the thought of life without him.

Mark Harris, 47, was found after police forced entry to his home in Summers Road, Farncombe, near Godalming, at 18:00 GMT on Monday.

His family said he was a sports science graduate who was very passionate about health and spirituality.

A 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody.

Mr Harris's family said he was very caring and took great pleasure in helping others achieve their goals.

"He really enjoyed listening to music, especially blues, and became a great harmonica player, demonstrating his talents playing in a couple of bands in the 90s," they said in a statement.

"Mark will be missed so much by his mum and brother."
