Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot through the door of his Sussex home.

Daniel Martin, 30, of Sherborne Street, Birmingham, and Delroy Hare, 50, of Fleet Street, Birmingham, were charged on Saturday, police said.

They were also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life following the incident in Park Way, Crawley, on 3 August.

A 50-year-old man arrested on 7 August has been bailed until 26 October.

The victim suffered minor injuries to his leg in the attack. Police said he slammed the door on his attacker before two shots were fired.
