Van driver charged over fatal crash in Hastings

A van driver has been charged with causing death by careless driving in a crash in East Sussex.

Russell Brown, a 35-year-old motorcyclist from St Leonards, was killed on The Ridge West, Hastings, on 27 May.

He was riding a Yamaha bike when it collided with a Ford Transit van. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 48-year-old van driver, from St Leonards, is due to appear before Hastings magistrates in October.
