Driver bailed over East Sussex biker crash death

A 49-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing the death by careless driving of a motorcyclist in East Sussex has been released on bail.

Sussex Police said a 65-year-old man was killed when the bike he was riding collided with a Ford Fiesta at Hooe, near Bexhill.

The rider, from Eastbourne, was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital but died later.

The Fiesta driver, from Worthing, was bailed pending further inquiries.
