Bexhill murder accused appears in court

A 27-year-old man has appeared at Lewes Crown Court charged with the murder of another man whose body was found at a East Sussex flat.

Christopher Hunnisett, of Chanctonbury Drive, Hastings, is accused of murdering Peter Bick in Dorset South Road, Bexhill, on 11 January.

The 57-year-old supermarket worker, who lived alone, died from severe head trauma, according to post-mortem tests.

Mr Hunnisett was remanded in custody to appear in court again on 1 April.
