Lewes woman admits doorstep stab attack on couple
A woman has admitted stabbing an elderly married couple on the doorstep of their Sussex home.
Rose Spanswick, 60, of Hawkenbury Way, Lewes, pleaded guilty to two charges of assault with intent to commit robbery and one count of aggravated burglary.
Sussex Police said the man suffered a broken ankle and the woman was stabbed a number of times during the attack in November.
Spanswick will be sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on 2 March.
The couple, who were both in their 70s, were treated in hospital for their injuries.
